Privacy Policy
Effective date: 09 April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use the Snopy mobile application (the "App"), including processing by third-party providers integrated into the App.
1) Scope
This policy applies to the App and related support communications. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own policies.
2) Data We Process
Snopy does not operate its own user account backend and does not collect personal data directly on our own servers through the App. Most data processing is performed by platform or third-party SDK providers listed below.
- On-device app settings: local preferences such as playback/background options and local entitlement flags stored on your device.
- Advertising-related data (third parties): identifiers and signals processed by ad providers (for example Google AdMob) to deliver, limit, and measure ads.
- Purchase/subscription data (third parties): product and entitlement metadata processed by Apple and subscription infrastructure to validate access.
- Support data: information you voluntarily provide when contacting us (for example by email).
3) How We Use Data
- To provide and maintain App functionality.
- To process subscriptions and restore purchases.
- To show ads in the free experience and measure ad performance.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4) Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract: processing required to provide requested App features.
- Legitimate interests: app security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.
- Consent: where required, including consent choices gathered via Google UMP and tracking choices under ATT.
- Legal obligation: compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5) Advertising, ATT, and Consent
The App uses advertising technology including Google AdMob. Depending on your region and settings, we may request consent for personalized advertising and tracking.
- ATT (Apple App Tracking Transparency): iOS permission prompt may be shown before tracking-enabled advertising.
- UMP (User Messaging Platform): consent messages may be shown in regions where consent is required (including EEA/UK as applicable).
- You can update device-level tracking settings in iOS at any time.
6) Third-Party Processors and Services
We rely on third-party providers to deliver parts of the service. These providers act under their own privacy terms and may independently process data required for their services.
- Google AdMob (ads delivery and measurement)
- Apple (in-app purchases, subscriptions, and App Store billing)
- Adapty (subscription and entitlement infrastructure used by the App)
7) Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers to operate the App, with legal authorities when required by law, or during business transfers (for example merger/acquisition), subject to safeguards.
8) Data Retention
We do not maintain a dedicated user database for the App on our own servers. Local app settings remain on your device unless removed by you or by uninstalling the App. Third-party providers retain data according to their own retention policies.
9) International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10) Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11) Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law. If you believe a child provided personal data without permission, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
13) Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above indicates the latest revision date.
